Where the Monkey Sleeps

Today`s Kurgan is something slightly different but still slots nicely into the Kurgan niche…it is…paella…rice, chorizo, prawn, onion, garlic, celery, parsley, cherry tomato, chicken and some sweet garden peas…simmered gently in our own chicken stock…let temptation lead you by the hand…

Today is indeed a momentous occasion as our very own Pigdog takes a step closer to full manhood! Our brand new Kurgan is his creation; his child; his Monster; his albatross! Prepare to feast upon it…a lamb burger crammed with cumin, onion, citrus and garlic then grilled and placed lovingly in a bagel on a bed of baby rocket, fresh coriander, our own curried mayo (mayo,lime juice, garam masala, ground coriander, mango chutney and curry powder) and, wait for it, some deliciously sweet and spiced Bombay potatoes…magnificent! Well done Pigdog!

We have a new Kurgan today…smoked mackerel pate with cucumber, spring onion, chilli and watercress on a bagel.
